  1. I'm in the UK, I'm baking hardtack, which can keep for 100 years, waxing cheese that can last decades, and coating supermarket eggs in mineral oil, and soon I'll water-glass them. I have a year's supply of powdered milk. Buy ghee, as its basically butter. I've not used it in baking yet.
