  1. The forces down there haven't changed in decades, what the hell are you talking about? There's a permanent garrison and airbase there, and a couple of warships rotating deployments, that're there to stop any future invasion attempts and defend the islanders sure, but they're also there, rather more importantly, to defend the local oil reserves and fishing grounds and big chunk of Antarctica which we get as a bonus FOR owning the Falklands, as well as it being a good place to train our troops of course; and our permanent forces down there haven't changed significantly in some time, and when they have it certainly won't have been solely because of anything Argentina said or did that particular day

If they suddenly wanted to, the four RAF Typhoons stationed on the Falklands could quite literally gain actual air-superiority over Argentina, ALL of Argentina, BY THEMSELVES lol, and there wouldn't be a damn thing Argentina could do about it, the only reason they'd have to go home is running out of fuel lol- seriously I'm not even kidding about that, Argentina have NOTHING in flying condition that would be any kind of match for a modern jet-fighter. It's actually kinda sad, it's debatable whether Argentina even actually counts as HAVING an air-force these days, which is a pretty big come-down to say the least considering how much damage their pilots did to our ships in the war. Think at last count they had maybe three or four 40-year-old A4 Skyhawks still airworthy and that's about it. Then again, still better than no planes at all I guess
