@anglaismoyen Putin commit the best troops and equipment to a "feign"... and when they retreated, then he simply said: it was a "feign" and our real intentions are in the East. In the real world, military leaders do not retreat from a feign, when their primary objective is not captured. A military leader would also never ever announce the primary objective and where the "real" attack would be coming. The whole "feign" is as laughable as the Moskva fire accident.

2 years ago, the USMC retired all 452 of its M1A1 tanks. It would be nice if the empty suits in Washington gave or loaned those to Ukraine. 452 tanks would not win the war, but those would out range and out gun the Russians' T-72 and T-80.

@NorwegianNationalist1 Interestingly, the goal of the USA was to leave, after Afghanistan Army could fight for itself. The USA and coalition never wanted to annex the whole country. Afghanis did not want to fight, when they had the chance... so they got what they have now. Russia wanted to annex Ukraine, but Russia will never do that. Only time will tell what happens in Ukraine. Germans thought they were doing good in 1940, 1941 and some of 1942, but the war was not over in 1942.

@Prushinthespirit LMAO what has NATO run out of? What has the USA run out of? The USA and other NATO countries have simply dusted off just a little bit of the stored equipment and given it to Ukraine. The US Army National Guard, US Army and USMC Reserves, US Army and USMC have not sent one thing from current units' equipment.

@zulkanainbaharuddin2185 The USMC wanted to realign their forces. The USMC leadership said that they should not be a smaller version of the US Army and focus on their role as an expeditionary force and amphibious role. The USMC used the money saved to buy more drones, shore based anti-ship missiles, etc. The USMC said it needs to be lighter and faster force. It also developed bunker defeat munitions for their infantry, so those do much of what the tanks would do. The USMC is also buying a lot more attack helicopters. The USMC cut much of its regular towed artillery and all of its main battle tanks. BTW, the M1A1 tank is the same tank that destroyed T-72 like those were tin cans in the 91 Gulf War, while not one M1A1 tank was lost to enemy fire. The US Army has something like 2.500 M1A2C tanks in service and something like 5,000 or 6,000 M1A1 tanks in storage. The USMC tanks were returned to the US Army and put in storage.
