This is probably 3 task forces that met up for the exercise and photo opportunity. Some Navies have the supply ships with the task forces, and the supply ships come and go as needed. Supply ships are the most important ships, so yeah put those in the photo, because those never get enough credit. Keeping the warships at sea is the most important thing, otherwise every 2 to 3 weeks the ships would need to find a port to get resupplied from. Many ports around the world do not want warships, but allow unarmed resupply/ merchant ships. BTW, a USN carrier strike group will get resupplied about 1 times a week.

Operation Photo Opportunity, that is the only thing NATO is good at doing. The USA needs to get out of NATO and Europe. We never should have been there in the first place. Other than that, good luck to all of the service members of all of the countries. It is a lousy career, so please never join the military.

@Gypsum179 Reading and logic... not your strong points, as seen by the prepackaged response. The USA should have never been involved in any European problems. People should not join the military, because it is a lousy career and way of life. That is the problem, so the rulers(who never fight) might want to think about fixing the problem, instead of blaming the service members or lack there of. IMO, currently western countries are not worth defending.

@robharris8844U No one has priority. Everyone gets in line when the order made and money paid. Any military will build up capabilities over time. The USA (USAF) has bought the most, including the early models that cost over 2 times per jet of the current prices. Of all of the models, the F35C is the least numerous, because the USN had to pay to do redesign of it due to problems with arrested landings. The F-35C had the lowest priority. I think all of the US Navy only has 2 squadrons of F-35C, so maybe 30 or so and the USMC has about the same number of F-35C. BTW, the USN already lost 1 F-35C, when a rookie (pilot error) crashed it into the flight deck of the ship and it went overboard.
