  1. Democacy under the christian idea of an absolut rule god? No way, abrahamic reigions promotes absolutism. USa is democracy due to its lack of oficial religion.

  2.  @bensilk6431  Venice was borned as a city state, as were those other republics, , roman empire was an absolutist monarchy from its beginning. UK and Spain christian? XDXDXDXD Marxism, humanism, capitalism, feminism, Islam, freemansonry, nationalism... Any of those religions is more important for West Europe rulers than christinity. You cant say a state is christian if its official propaganda mocks christianity. Europe became democracies after replace christainity with humanist liberalism or nationalism as the source of the values of the rulers.

You didnt proposed any solution for that, so there is no expanaion of how it could had endured more. Third century Rome had the same poblem. Constantin maybe solutioned that with the divine right stuff, but noone cared anymore about that.

  9.  @Lpf-df5yr  Depends of waht we consider spanish. Camoesn considered the portuguese spanish. Catalan origins are in the spanish march of the frankish empire, and their lanugae is considered an occitan dialect, the language of southern france. So, if they arent spanish, they are french.

  10.  @Lpf-df5yr  If norwegian and danish are so similar, then they should be reconised as norse dialects I find stupid and totally lacking objectivity that people say a langauge is language is a country recognize it as official. In fact I see toscan, castillian, portuguese and catlan so similar that I think theyshould be ackowledge as dialects of the western latin language. I barelyunderstand them spoken, butI understand thm writen.

  11.  @Lpf-df5yr  Then wich sense has the concept of dialect? Accordin to you, dialects dont exist. Then why you use the concept? Or is simply a language with n pfficial recognition. And I find that totaly lacking of objectivity. For me dialect is a form of a langage wich can be partially understood by other dialects of the same language. So both castellano&catalan are western latin dialects.
