The people living on Taiwan on not governed by Beijing, their rights are given by Taipei, therefore the majority in question are those on the island of Taiwan and not the 1.4 billion people you claim are the majority. Even going by your asinine reasoning, Xi Jinping doesn't have the peoples mandate to govern since he did not receive 100% of the votes from the Peoples Congress. Just because you're Chinese doesn't mean you have a right to tell what other people of Chinese descent are allowed to believe.
