Comments by "K" (@Otter-Destruction) on "Walmart denies claims it pulled Xinjiang products as its Sam's Club arm comes under fire in China" video.
Right and where's the logic in cancelling your membership to a business that clearly sources their goods from local areas in China and hires local Chinese? Let alone the false accusations...

@aaronlimeuchin7352 lol you've clearly missed the point of OPs post regarding local economic well being as a primary concern. Try again. I couldn't care less if all of Sam's Club customers cancelled their membership.

@alexgang408 Firstly, businesses come and go and it wouldn't be the first time a Western business was banned from operating in China. Secondly sure 1/5 so you're going to discount the potential purchasing power of the other 4/5s? Thirdly 10 other supermarkets clearly wouldn't open the next day if this Sam's Club managed to open or there would've been one of those 10 supermarkets in its place. You do understand that the accusations levied against Sam's Club is yet to be substantiated correct? It was based on assumptions on social media, are Chinese people really that gullible that they believe everything on social media? It is also very possible that Sam's Clubs apps did in fact disallow the searching of "Xinjiang" or "Uighur" as a searchable phrase as shown by the govs very efficient internet censorship. What else to complain? Absolutely lets talk about defamation and compensation when it's found out that Sam's Club did in fact have those items on their shelves and readily purchasable as stated by their regional rep.

@aaronlimeuchin7352 Wow! you’re reading comprehension skills are so lacking, your question was literally answered when you restated my response and your first question was answered in my previous response. Try again, peasant - also repeat first year English while you’re at it then come back yeah?

@aaronlimeuchin7352 What are you talking about? Japanese automobiles are still the worlds most popular and purchased around the world.

@aaronlimeuchin7352 You're obviously making stuff up at this point to fuel your bias since this is the 2nd time you've mentioned this "auto agreement" but failed to name it. Because of how well made and efficient Japanese Autos were, the US started importing more and more Japanese vehicles due to the Oil Embargo, increasing the popularity of Japanese products. You have the internet check which auto manufacturer is the most popular and sold in the world to this date.

@zunden2 There's a debate to be had there, many reference the Plaza Accord, but don't realize that it wasn't a bilateral agreement.

@zunden2 then you should know it wasn't the intended effect... correct?
