  1. This is a windfall for Japan and other parts of Asia, not so much the US. The US thinks they will get German companies to move to the US but that WON'T happen, same as after the US blew up Nordstream when German companies moved to Asia (mostly China) and almost none moved to the US.

  2.  @lordvectrex  Most of these companies will end up located somewhere in Asia for competitive and sales reasons. Asia comprises a majority of both the global population and real global economy.

  6. Germany is an industrial and military midget. Very weak. Russia could destroy Germany in an hour. China is dozens of times stronger industrially than Germany and literally 9X stronger than the US industrially.

  12. No, most of the German auto production in China is for export, not chinese consumption. Germany builds there because of the outstanding supply chain, high quality, and affordable (not cheapest) cost.
