I wouldn't say sunak was grilled at all!! She never even questioned the conflict of interest either.

I think agencies would more likely retain a childminder whereas an individual might only last a few months and leave childminding even after they've received the £600 payment. You know what people are like; they like receiving money for nothing or for doing very little.

@KebabMusicLtd The agency doesn't get the £1200 windfall, think you're providing inaccurate information. The ‘start-up’ grants of £600 are for those who individually register with Ofsted and double that, £1,200, for those who register with a childminding agency. The agency doesn't get the money!!!

@hypernorm4802 Most people irrespective of political allegiance would take money for nothing or very little!! I'm sure there aren't any poor Labour MP's on the benches 👍

@peterhall3405 I'm entitled to my opinions and it is my opinion the childminder receives the grant, not the agency who provides work for them. The agency gets the work for the childminder and that's where they make their money. You're clearly not living in the UK if you think people don't do very little for money. Quote - In short: you make stuff up to try to defend a policy set up by a corrupt politician. No i'm looking at the content of the video with an impartial mind. I don't even vote because they're all as bad as each other.

@skrich9690 The agency makes its money from the contracts it creates with the parents of the children the childminder looks after. Don't you know anything about how companies make money?
1
@skrich9690 i'm asking whether you know how companies make their money?

@peterhall3405 If you think I make stuff up then I think you make stuff up too!! I cannot really believe an adult who's been through an education system is making a big deal about my comments. So I can only conclude from your last comment that you have mental health problems because it seems you haven't a clue what an 'opinion' is.

@skrich9690 The payment from the Government goes straight to the childminder, not the agency.
1
@skrich9690 the agency may charge for training but i would imagine the agency takes out a percentage of the cost for childminding services and the rest is given to the childminder but the grant is given to the childminder!!
1
@skrich9690 but i'm only pointing out the grant doesn't go to the agency - it goes to the childminder. Whereas some people falsely think the grant goes to the agency!! business is business wherever you go so the people who own the companies are always going to win no matter what, why else would they be in business in the first place? In the UK it's always money before people and that reflects the people as they only think of themselves and money before others!! nothing new here!!
