  2. Life doesn't change for people. There will always be the rich and there will always be the poor, people will always pay taxes and some people will always have their money in tax havens, there will always be people who vote and there will always be people who don't, there will always be MP's who say one thing but do the opposite, there will always be MP's who fiddle and claim lots in expenses, there will always be companies making huge profits, the bins will always be collected every week, the Council will always take money from you to pay for the wide range of services that you don't receive, there will always be people smiling on TV but few smiles in the High Street, there will always be loneliness and isolation in old age for millions of people. The list can go on and on but why do you vote for this kind of depressing life time and time again?

  3. It doesn't get better. Take it from him and take it from me at 54 years of age. Nothing changes so it's not worth voting or participating in THEIR system!! It's their system, not yours and it only benefits them!!

  4. but to the man on the street nothing has changed, there's still rich vs poor, Councils still charging CTax for services many people don't receive, MP's on the take, corporations making big bucks, people were still sick and ill under a Labour Government, dentists still pulling out healthy teeth, doctors still sexually abusing their patients, trains packed with passengers, high train fares etc  @Geffo555

  5. I've just been out into town and people are still shopping in large numbers so where's the cost of living crisis? There's even a new Magnet kitchen place opening up. Do you think they'll get any customers? I do because there's lots of people with money to spend. On the other end of the spectrum people are still begging for money, people are still stealing etc etc. NOTHING changes  @django3422

  6. I'd have expected that someone who's canvassed over 30 years would fully understand and appreciate why people don't vote. Have you ever thought the non-voters are right and that nothing really changes? In all of 30 years canvassing what changes have you seen for the average person on the street?  @deborahwarren6710

  7. Quote - This can only change with reform, FPTP has to go. I see so many people talking about reform and FPTP has to go but nothing gets done. Why? You can't do anything about it because it's not your voting system. That's why I don't bother voting as it's a complete and utter waste of time!!!

  8. The voting system is designed to maintain the position of the Monarch. If we had PR it could jeopardise the position of the Monarch 👍 Like I stated, nothing changes in the UK which is why I don't bother to vote!!!  @jonathanwetherell3609

  12. The more I see Kier Starmer the more I hope Labour doesn't win the next GE. He's not for the average person. In fact he's in it for himself like all the others and he's very much a red tory.
