Capitalism has been hijacked by a mixture of socialism, religion and corruption...which in their core form are all a side of the same thing. One of the major reasons of all this corruption is democracy. Its forcing people that do not know each other to agree on some representatives. No voter ever really gets to engage with any of those representatives and thus its just another form of a small elite inner circle that represents insider power games and corruption. You are either inside this game and profit or outside the game without connection and paying the bills. The law is also an issue, copyright and patents...horrible constructs that are used as swords to break down the idea behind capitalism. Private property and competition so improvements are made and can spread to benefit everyone. Capitalism is the only true workable form of democracy and it does not even require voting or representatives.
