Quite simply...because he KNEW what his policies and the policies they would begin promoting would do to the economy. If the American people still believed in 3-4% economic growth as a normal good thing...the damn near stagnant state of the economy those modern Democrat policies WOULD produce would quickly lose support. We SHOULD expect 3-4% growth. We SHOULD expect affordable interest rates generally. There's no reason, as the greatest nation on earth, that we should come to expect less as normal.

She'll get there. I personally don't care if she becomes a "Trumper" or not. Dave Ruben is exactly what we want to see. Someone who simply asks questions, and calls out each side when they get it wrong freely.

Like she said, it took her and leftists like her actually being presented with the reality of their ideas personally for them to realize they are not good ideas. Unchecked out of control immigration seems like it's not a big deal, much like all other things, when YOU aren't dealing with it. The second they started being personally handed the illegal immigrants they asked for, they begged for it to stop.

@kovie9162 Oh no. I'm with you. I'm exaggerating to prove a point to someone else. Claiming it's simple that something should be free like that is ridiculous. In a perfect world, sure, but we live in reality. We can work to make it more affordable, and it absolutely should be...but nothing is free.
