Thinking of the future of these kids...I truly shutter to imagine 10-15 years from now when we are faced with millions and millions of young adults who have been forever stripped of their ability to have children or even simply enjoy a sexual experience with their significant other because of the garbage previous adults in their lives shoved on to their young, underdeveloped, ignorant shoulders.

@nicolast.davinci1561 Fair point. But given the far and wide reaching access we have to all the worlds information, what does it say about a society that still chooses to ignore it all? I think a society that has access to all the information that would indicate they are wrong, and still chooses to be wrong rather than seek the info...is even worse off than a society that was wrong and had a tough time accessing any information that would indicate they were wrong. Perhaps that is your point lol!

I agree, assuming this parent has all the information at hand about the pros and cons and does it anyway. If this mom agreed to it initially, not fully understanding it because she either chose not to or was not even allowed the information...and she IS aware of it now...good on her. People can grow and change. We need millions more like her. Assuming she made a point of being a Democrat with the purpose of changing her vote if things don't change.

@nicolast.davinci1561 I hear you. I view it like the German people after the liberation. They technically had the information, but they were brainwashed in to not believing their lying eyes. It wasn't till they saw the stacks of millions of bodies that it became clear. We have the information in our pockets, but it won't be until an entire generation is coming back talking about how they can't have children and can't even enjoy sex that people will see it.

I mean...kind of yes. Many people saw this coming back in 2008 for sure, but she very well could have voted for that herself with no intention of voting for this. It's gonna take a LOT of people being willing to ignore the cancel culture and speak up anyway to make a significant enough change, but it can absolutely happen. As we have seen through the years, the Democrat party speaks one language. Votes. If it gets votes, they support it. If it doesn't, they don't. The second all this trans nonsense stops and even begins LOSING them votes...I guarantee they will drop it. If a Hillary Clinton can be against same sex marriage until it became politically incumbent on her to support it...then most any politician can be made to reject anything for enough votes.
