All that talk about majority rule...when the Supreme Court has nothing to do with majority rule or popular opinion. They rule based on the Constitution...REGARDLESS of if it's vastly popular...or vastly unpopular. There was a time when it was overwhelmingly popular to have slaves here...the "majority rule" would have supported owning other humans like property. We still decided it was wrong and illegal.
