  1. In Armageddon, wouldn't the bomb's effect depend upon the structure of the asteroid? Everyone assumes asteroids are solid chunks of rock, but they can be anything from a solid mass to an agglomeration of pebbles. Since that one was outgassing, some of its structure must have been ice.
