@WhatifAltHist The last taboo question you covered about the Gender Spectrum is quite interesting since for me (from my current viewpoint); Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and even being Transgender makes sense they are only switching from biological sex to another. In addition, I am opposed to discrimination against Intersex people since they were born with sex characteristics that they had/have no control over afaik so it would be unjust to discriminate against them based on that. But the further away one moves from this above ^, the more bizarre things become IMO. Although, the label of Asexual as an identity is somewhat strange to me but it's at least still way more tolerable than all the other sexual orientations/gender identities that seem pretty made up on the spot ngl like Demigender, Genderfluid, Non-Binary and Genderqueer. Now, as for the Anti-LGBT sentiment in Christianity, I have read that it is because of either the supposed sin of homosexuality OR the lack of hospitability (inhospitality). https://www.reddit.com/r/religion/comments/vrdu6z/why_hasnt_god_destroyed_the_countries_that_have/ Though I am not sure, but based on what I have read from the reddit thread it seems like there is no actual theological reason to oppose LGBT rights in Christianity (If for example, God is going to destroy the countries who legalise Same-Sex Marriage or something like that) and that could be the case also in Islam but I am not fully 100% sure tbh.
