  1. To maximize profits manufacturers will produce until marginal revenue equals marginal cost. There's no overcapacity because manufacturers would not produce additional units if marginal cost was greater than marginal revenue. Economics 101.

  4. ​ @Shadowless_Kick  If you require Chinese manufacturers to produce in the US in order to sell in the US that's more than reasonable. Tesla will then have to compete with others in the US as they do in China. What's good for the goose...
