  3. exactly. Part of the purpose of the primary is to win the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates to determine who has the best chance in the General. This isn't 2016 where we didn't know Trump would win until later. We know baring removal he is the opponent. We know what he is like. We know his style of attacks. He'd attack Biden on corruption, use his base's hatred of Obama to gin them up, and mock him for low energy and Biden is likely to lose the popular vote out of apathy. With Warren, Trump will attack her from the Left like he did with Hillary. He'll attack her for being a Reagan-era Republican, flipping foreclosed houses, voting for his military budget, giving him a standing ovation when Bernie didn't, voting to confirm Ben Carson, ginning up his base and independents for her connections with Hillary and for stabbing Bernie in the back in 2016, and of course he'll bring the whole DNA thing and how she didn't prove anything with the test results except that she was willing to play Trump's childish games. It'd be brutal. I can see her winning the popular vote but like Hillary losing the Electoral. With Bernie, his main attacks would be socialism and crazy. He can't really attack him on health and age given his own situation. The weaknesses of Biden and Warren are too vulnerable to Trumpian attacks and their strengths are not enough. Biden doesn't inspire anyone. Warren comes off as stiff and not authentic - I'm still haunted by her drinking a beer (like humans do). Bernie inspires people like none of the other candidates do. We need him both to defeat Trump to make changes we desperately need.
