***** so they represent a billion muslims? And I can find you christians who have killed abortion doctors.

OsefKincaid because a couple of gunmen obviously represent a billion muslims and all muslims for 1300 years

***** what Bill and Sam did was say that all muslims are bad for following their religion while you are saying the same because of a radical few. If those cartoons were so offensive to a billion muslims then why don't Islamic countries band together and bomb France?

This video and the troll comments below show what most people should already know which is that the trolls never watch TYT videos and just post garbage comments of what they think the video is about. Look how many trolls are calling TYT islamic apologists and yet it is TYT who is willing to show the cartoons that major media networks are afraid to show while praising the bravery of Charlie Hebdo. Where is the 15 minute long rant of "Islam is the religion of peace" these troll muppets keep posting? Oh, right! It's not there because these knee-jerk idiots can't be bothered to actually listen to the video they are complaining about. Differences of opinion are one thing but this is not a difference of opinion because it's a contrary opinion to something that's not even there. It's just a pathetic circle-jerk of a few conservatives with multiple channels who can't handle there being other opinions out there that go against their narrow-minded ideology so in their small pathetic way they have to troll incessantly posting nothing of substance.

***** no, if Islam is the motherlode of bad ideas then what is keeping a billion muslims from attacking France? BTW Fun fact - the US has killed more muslims via collateral damage in the last 13 years than muslim extremists have killed anyone

***** dear lord you're pathetic. I tried to give you insight to the more complex issues at work here and with Maher's dumb insensitive comment but you just want to go the "they're crazy" and "they just follow their holy book" route of triteness. But since you like the simplistic approach - Maher is still wrong because two wrongs don't make a right.

dedman91 no, Bill doesn't know much about Islam except what he chooses to focus on - hell he called dealing with the Palestinians like beating an unruly wife. Meanwhile Harris takes an outside literal approach to Islam. All they do is preach to a choir of ignorant people.

***** So the actions of a few representative the entirety? Yeah, that's an intelligent approach.
1
***** wait, so you're saying people shouldn't be allowed to protest something they don't like?
1
***** but the difference it they didn't kill anyone and those mobs still don't represent the entirety. What is it about that simple point that neither you nor bill or sam can get? Making blanket statements is not an intelligent approach.

***** "Dealing w/ Hamas is like dealing w/ a crazy woman who's trying to kill u - u can only hold her wrists so long before you have to slap her"
1
***** you even have to ask? Hamas did not come out of vacuum of people who just thought they would hate Israel one day. Maher's comment is typically conservative despite is generally liberal views in that he refuses to look at the underlying causes at work. It is the same way with your blaming all of Islam for the death of these cartoonists. Many muslims more than ever feel they are being persecuted, invaded, and ridiculed by the western world and they have good reason to think so. Western powers dictate how things should be run in the middle east, their countries are bombed, their people imprisoned with little evidence, their people are tortured, their people are killed as part of collateral damage, their religious items are banned in some western countries they live in, and they are blamed as a whole every time some pent-up frustrated individuals lash out and meanwhile more of them are getting killed by muslim extremists than any other group so they are kind of getting it from both ends. But no just go ahead and blindly point to a 1300 year old passage to explain away yesterday's actions and call it a day.

***** piss off, troll

***** I'm sorry I credit you with having some ounce of intellectual honesty. I see that I was wrong when you write trite like "Before the US went to war they where killing each other now the only difference is they are killing us. " You are ignorant individual who is proud of his ignorance.
1
***** they are crazy as shit - see you prove my point. You write in generalizations that in no way look beyond a superficial surface. You're a pseudo-intellectual with delusions of grandeur because they read Dawkins one day.
1
jonrotten31 oh, hey another troll chiming in! You trolls do realize you do more to legitimize your opponent that detract from them? It means we must be doing something right to tick your kind off.
1
***** "More brain cells lost. I have actually never read Dawkins" Did you have any to begin with as you seem not to grasp the concepts of sarcasm and hyperbole? There is not point having an intellectual debate with someone who is a literalist and a blatant generalizer. It would all be lost on you as everything I've already posted has.

I say on one side don't blame all muslims for the acts of a few but on the other print those cartoons with a vengeance with the message that you cannot enforce your cultural rules on others. Many islamic countries have more problems to deal with than some satirical cartoons from a French newspaper. Also if Allah can't handle some French cartoon depictions of His Prophet then He can't be Allah that powerful.
