  1. Republicans want Hilary to run because hatred of her amongst rightwingers goes way back. They can rally their base with a paint-by-numbers smear campaign with more than a little Benghazi thrown in. Plus they know a lot of progressive support for Hilary if she wins the primaries will be luck-warm compared to the boiling hatred and cold fear the Republican base will have to vote against her.  If Warren runs, they'd actually have to find a viable candidate who can beat Warren on the issues but with Hilary they just need someone or a plank of wood for rightwingers to vote against her.
