  4. Kill the organization ie put the organization out of existence so gun manufacturers won't have a shilling buffer anymore or a lobbying obstructionist group anymore. The NRA used to be about gun safety and proper handling of fire arms not a political group until they had one of their leaders, a murderer named Harlon Carter, switch the focus to mainly gun rights which has led to a fetishizing of guns like we've never had before. The old NRA never would have had a Valentines ad with guns on a heart-shape pillow. It's become a mentally ill morally corrupt organization preaching fear and paranoia to a likeminded choir.
