for those up North poking fun, you have to understand the South gets a lot more ice than snow especially black or clear ice that is transparent and slippery as hell. This kind of weather is very rare in Atlanta (oh, gee another weird weather phenomenon! head your head in the sand or snow, republicans) so people are not used to driving in this kind of weather nor does the local government have the wherewithal to deal with it due its rarity

How many more of these unnatural weather phenomenons are we going to have to have before some people finally wake up and realize something is seriously messed up with our climate? It used to be these kinds of things would happened stretched out over a decade or two, now they are occurring every year around the world on practically a month by month basis.

your comment? Yeah I agree. Learn something about weather. It's not the cold, it's the ice. You can walk on/thru snow. You can't walk on the ice so well especially when it's thin and wet. Plus the cold there is a wet cold not a dry cold making it feel colder than it actually is.

no you don't. You just think you do. In Canada you get more snow than ice and the ice you get freezes thick and solid. In the south the snow often turns into ice and when roads freeze they get black ice or clear ice which is transparent and very very slippery. You can drive on snow and even thick ice but black ice is nigh impossible

RiotforPeacePlz and you can easily buy stuff to deal with it because of where you live. Most of the time Atlanta never gets this kind of weather so tire-chains are not readily available nor is keeping a fleet of salt-rock trucks around for the a snowstorm that might only happen once every 15 years

RiotforPeacePlz I understand. When someone offers up logic to ignorance it can make one sorry that it needed to be done in the first place

RiotforPeacePlz I'm sorry, I don't speak misspelled gibberishese. You mind running that by me again with better spelling, attention to punctuation, and some basic grammar skills?
