@arleneparris3446 Asia held 50% of the USD reserve based on the Peterson institute study made in Dec 2023. China held USD 3.2 Trillion of that USD 5 Trillion USD reserve with only USD 800 billion was on US bonds. Japan came 2nd with USD 1.2 T and all of them ob US bonds. China is moving toward USD cash instead of US bonds. According to the IMF total USD reserve is USD 12 Trillion. On that study, Euro only held USD 1 Trillion. Middle East USD 800 billion, Latin America held only USD 600 billion and Africa only USD 85 billion. What the Peterson worried about was if the Asia tuned 25% of USD reserve into Yuan or Euro, the USA collapse overnight.

@raulepure9840 China back to poverty? LOL if China and its Allies in Asia dropped the USD by 25%, the USA would go bankrupt.

@raulepure9840 Nah that's the fact. This study was done on Dec 2023 by a US NGO called Peterson Institute. That's why the US tried hard to win in Asia. However China is as old as the UK. They have been one of three richest nation in earth. So for them to get that posisition again is possible. 2nd one is so many countries were victims of the US apartheid and evil policies. For example the US killed Saddam and Gaddafi just because those two people tried to sell their oil in Euro not the USD. Also thr US has been lied to the world for Iraqi WMD. The US also manipulates USD through swift codes, petrodollars, Breton Wood etc.

@sflxn I have never been surprised that the US would increase the Fed interest rates as it is part of the Petrodollar scheme.
1
@xipingcao it is normal. Why? The US is not the main China export nor import. Thus, this is just like the USA, where the majority FDI to the USA is for money laundering.
1
@TheBarrwen True, Blinken went to Saudi to force MBD not to sell in Yuan, otherwise MBD has to accept his consequences to do so. Without Saudi's investment, the USA has collapsed.
