  1. Russia has had to scavenge air defence systems back from Syria, from Easter Russia and even from the cities and military bases inside Ruzzia, so they are very short of air defence, mainly thanks to USA HARM air launched missiles..

Perun spotted very early on that the figures for Ruzzian military were totally wrong, corruption made sure Russia was not prepared for anything other than Ukraine throwing their arms in the air and surrendering. Ruzzia lost after 4 days when they had to withdraw from Kiev and run east to Donbas and re-assess their aims. Before 24 Feb 2022 Ruzzia was seen as second military in the world - after that date it became obvious they were the second best military in Ukraine. The large modern Ruzzian military was soon exposed because the large part is not modern and the modern part is not large. UK and USA had been in Ukraine since 2014 training and supplying weapons to Ukraine military, that made the difference. Ruzzia is desperately short of trucks as their logistics are based on railways, and guess what, Ruzzia cannot get replacement wheel bearings and other spare parts for their rolling stock... I remember that very early in the invasion that USA supplied a lot of diesel locomotives to Ukraine to cater for loss of electrical power to electric railways. Maybe this should be a lesson to Europe that electric trains cannot be relied on in wartime.....
