The Speaker Of The House only really becomes POTUS if something happens to the President and the Vice-President at the same time. The country has been without a Vice-President many times (until a new one is confirmed), but should never be without a President, for an extended time.   5.  @CAJUNBEE  I'm not sure why they would say that. Congress controls the money. She was in the perfect position to pass bloated bills knowing Joe Biden would not veto them. She has done very well financially, potentially from insider trading. She's over 80 now, so rumors are that Biden will appoint her an ambassadorship as she retires.
