  1.  @trollsports7829  : The Fugger family got the nobility rank of Fürst, and had own territories. In HRE times, they had been really rulers of their territories, because the Emperor became more and more a nominal head of HRE.

  2. Nobody of the Krupp family is still allive. The last one died in the mid 1980s. But the princes/ Fürsten von Fugger are still allive, their fortune is still so large, that the rent( ?) of one Gulden/ guilder per year , today the 88 euro cent, per year is so low.

  3. Tirol as austrian state is named after Tyrol castle you saw in the video,. As far as i know it is in Southern Tyrol, which is since 1919 a part oft Italy. And not allways the castle and the castle have the same name. But also you still can find german villages, where the village, the castle and the noblemans family habe the same Name.

  4. The Fugger company stopped goods trading in mid 17th century, but up to arround 2000 the ,Fürst Fugger Bank' was an inependant Bank company. The princes/ Fürsten von Fugger still exist, and they are still rather rich. As far as i know , the ,Fürst Fugger Bank' is today only a subbranch of a german bank company, bit for rich clients only.
