@caseysmith544 You've been reading agitprop. Abortion law is simply a dead issue -- and is off the table for the NRA. Half of its membership WANTS abortion rights for women -- half don't. The NRA knows this. So do every politician. That's why even Reagan talked big -- and then EXPANDED California's abortion law when he was governor. It was HIS PEN that triggered Roe vs Wade. Yeah, that case was taken up VERY shortly after Reagan signed on the dotted line. Previous to that moment, the USSC would NOT touch any case that came up -- and many had done so. You are VERY poorly informed. No lobbyist takes positions that are SURE to cut-off HALF of his contributors from his ever needy bank account. That's why so many lobbyists are strictly one-trick-ponies.

@julierussell2300 Obviously true. Normally the fetus is naturally aborted. Many a woman has been totally frustrated because of this phenomenon. A dead fetus stops emitting the critical hormones that instruct the mother to keep on feeding it. That is, the mother's appetite collapses, too. Dead tissue is normally sluffed off, very much like the menses.

@caseysmith544 By law, Roe vs Wade, any threat to a pregnant woman is grounds for abortion. No Alabama law can over-ride the USSC. At worst, a gal can drive a few miles to Georgia and same-day solutions will be to hand. You have been propagandized.

He was a FLUNKY. The entire scheme came from H.W. Bush (41). Duh. North was doing what he was told to do by Bush and Reagan's NSA -- North's immediate boss. North never did anything that was not commanded by these guys. The admiral flatly admitted that he ordered North to do this and that. What does it take for you folks to stay up with the news?

So the Hyper-Left is back at it AGAIN. The Americans will no sooner give up their guns but history must repeat. It's a RARE gun that's fired at a human being. Forget Hollywood and the crazed media. Most guns STOP felonies. They are so effective that every LEO wants one, or two, or three. Mere possession does the trick. Normally, a pistol gesture is more than sufficient. A MUCH BETTER IDEA: surrender our cars. Taking the bus, subway, train or rickshaw is MUCH SAFER.

The areas of extreme gun violence have BY FAR the toughest gun laws. When gun ownership laws were returned to original conditions -- crime went down -- often way down. In one Texas county, gun ownership was made virtually obligatory. Violent crime -- already low -- went to flat zero. The criminally inclined simply picked up sticks and moved to easier victims.
