  1. ​​​ @mirandahotspring4019  they do actually work all that stuff out, they have a little computer thingy and a book listing previous shots and scope settings. The spotter will at least do wind speed and direction (which means you have to reset it every few seconds if you havnt managed to shoot yet), earth movement and curvature, air temperature/humidity and obviously distance, as well as knowing the behaviour of the rounds they are using and the rifle from previously shooting it and recording details. also these records usually arnt set by the first shot, they have to have a few attempts and adjust from that.
