When you first announced your tour schedule like two years ago I asked if you had ever been on a big ship as it appeared to me you did not know how long it would take to tour one. Was I right? Still think you should have seen the British liner at Long Beach because, well, its British and even bigger than the battleships. I took the self guided tour and litterally ran through it and it took like 2 hours. It has part of the hull cut away so you can see a propeller. The turbines were slowly rotating to prevent flattening of the bearings. Then I saw the Spruce Goose.

You could calculate the amount of BTU it takes to melt that mass of metal and come up with an energy equivalent. Maybe also calculate 1/2 mv squared.

If you want vertigo (and claustrophobia) go up in the St. Louis Arch. I believe its about 600 feet tall which is high but you can see ant like people on the ground. The elevators are little un airconditioned balls which have me near screaming. And of course it looks like a small wind will blow it over. I later found out the legs are two thirds full of concrete which allays fears to some extent. I have been in monumental constructions in various parts of the world and it is well worth seeing. Of course you could always do the bungee jump from the Toronto sky tower if you really want punishment. Also found out later the St. Louis elevators do have emergency escape stairs which must be like climbing a 600 foot ladder. The copper arm of the Statue of Liberty is also a sweaty place in the summer.

Imagine being high up in the ship in rough seas.

I always knew you were a Time Lord. What was the Tardis busted for this trip? (Again?)
