@izzymarz6788 Clearly, we're in different modes. I'm talking about $hit like fighting, and actually winning wars, and keeping this country safe....And here you are yammering on about kids (who probably still pee the bed) learning basic $hit. That's cute.
"doing our jobs with the cheapest way possible"
That literally made no sense whatsoever, man. None. -_-
"to the overall brotherhood because of the few numbers that are in the corps compared to other branches"
Again, nonsensical. You're reaching, man.
You've obviously never served in an Army infantry unit, bruh. Ever hear of the "Blue Cord Brotherhood"? (I bet you had to Google it.)
When it comes to brotherhood, especially in combat arms, you can't speak on it, so DON'T. In fact, if you even served at all, I bet you were a pog. Because you certainly sound like one.
Oh, and that little blip about the 'few numbers'....Don't kid yourself, Gomer. You're under the Department of the NAVY. You're basically their infantry. (Except pogs.) So, it stands to reason that you would number fewer, compared to other branches. Duh.
Now, let me educate you on this little dig:
"there is a reason why if a person from another branch joins the marines, they have to go through bootcamp, while if marines decide to go to others, we go straight in, cough cough"
I mean, I almost laughed out loud reading this dung! Do you really think that you're so omnipotent, and badass, that other branches, whose members may jump ship to the MC, would have to go through boot?
That's hilarious!
Do you know why that is? It's ONLY because it's MARINE CORPS POLICY! Full stop!
The other branches are obviously smarter than that. They know what a colossal waste of both time, AND MONEY it is, to make military members, who just ETS-ed, and decided to go to another branch, go through basic again. That's absolutely ridiculous.
Just more silly dick-measuring by the USMC. Do you really think that an Army grunt, who went to Fort Benning, and then decided to go to the MC after his hitch, would in any way be shook, or have a hard time going through MC boot? 🤣
And, SPEAKING of grunts....IF you're in the MC, and you leave, deciding you wanna jump to the Army, and you're out for more than four years before you make said jump, guess where YOUR ass is going........BASIC!
Ask yourself why you NEVER see 11B's, AFPR's, SEALs, Green Berets, 82nd Airborne, 101st Air Assault, 10th MTN, or the 75th Rangers, all over Marine videos, beating their chest, and $hitting on their brothers in arms, telling them how they suck compared to them. If you've asked yourself this question, but don't have an answer....Allow me to fill that void.
It's because THEY'RE the REAL badasses! And badasses don't brag. Because if you have to brag, you really ain't $HIT!
Do your job, and STFU.
So yeah, you keep coughing, son. Make sure you get it all out. ;-)

I can see marine ignorance runs deeper than the Mariana Trench. So let's open up the school, shall we?
- The lowest ASVAB score for all four branches is 31. Only the Coast Guard has a lowest score acceptance of 36.
- The U.S. Marines absolutely DO accept GED's. (look it up. It's right on their site.)
- You cannot graduate basic if you can't pass your PT test, full stop. So, you're either lying, or you were lied to.
- The Forge, you will hike close to 50 miles in total. The last 16 is a ruck march, and it happens in a day, and NOT in 96 hours. (Man, please.)
Ask about Honor Hill at Fort Benning (infantry), and the 21-mile road march with a 60 lb ruck. (Ask me how I know this)
Please know what you're talking about BEFORE you post.
And lastly, speaking to him that way simply because he switched branches, is typical marine mentality. If you had any idea how many ex marines changed branches, you'd probably cry. Why you're all salty over something so miniscule is hilarious. That literally is the equivalent of members of a football team's offensive line, getting mad at a left tackle for moving to the inside linebacker position.
Maybe one day, you fruitcakes will understand that all four branches of the United States military play for the SAME TEAM, and are ALL brothers in arms. You guys are unbelievable. smh.

You have no idea what you're talking about, sir. Please do some research. Nobody is "trying" to be the Marine Corps. You're the smallest branch by FAR. The only ones concerned with the Marine Corps, IS the Marine Corps. But, I digress...The Army is just going back to its world war roots. They're the ones who started the drab service uniform. They just changed over the years (which, admittedly, they shouldn't have.), whereas the USMC did not. At the end of the day however, our goal, first, and foremost, is to protect this nation, and obliterate enemy combatants. Pretty uniforms are cool...But we're military personnel...Not models on a friggin catwalk.

@Rasdawg915
You don't sound very intelligent at all, man. And I'm being as nice as humanly possible when I say that. The only rivalry between the army and the navy, are their respective college football teams. That is not culture.
That's fanaticism, and is to be expected.
There is no rivalry militarily between the army, and the navy. Mostly because they're different militarily. If you did serve in the army, my guess is, you were a pog. Because if you saw my screen name, you wouldn't have said that I spent zero time in.
Different branches do things differently. If that's an epiphany for you, then I don't know what to tell you. That shouldn't be 'shocking' to anyone with even half their brain functioning. What you marines don't seem to grasp, is that all four branches of the US military play for the same team. Different 'positions', but same team nonetheless. The sooner you understand that, the better off you'll be.
That rivalry thing is stupid.
