Not defending Turkey at all here, however they've 80% inflation and are in a very dire financial situation ... this means losing 80% of your income to inflation after a year for almost everybody there. Basically they're on the brink of total collapse just like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Cuba before them. Seeing another country collapsing every other month is extremely troubling to say the least and I've no idea how this'll affect the world during and after this war. :(

  3. Putin's Russia is really running out of steam, all they do is shelling lots and lots of apartments with civilians, it's extremely painful and shameful to watch. Hard to get over this senseless loss of life on both sides, what a humanitarian disaster they created in Ukraine.

  4.  Johnny H Johns  I'm aware Venezuela is also struggling extremely bad, I'm worried for all these struggling countries. At least Turkey finally chose to side with Ukraine, proving they've a conscience regardless of their own desperate situation, so that's good enough for me atm.

You wrote: @Anita K Sorry I was being flippant about the whole inflation thing. Yes it's a real problem but it's not insurmountable. They just need to get rid of their leader. Seriously. He's responsible for some really stupid things: 1) Lowering interest rates when inflation is rising. 2) Getting the country into a huge dept cycle. 3) Relying on imports to prop the economy up. 4) The crashing currency. (He's done some good things for the people, but his use of depts to do this was ALWAYS going to come and bite him, just like it is in China - though they hide it). My reply: No problem really, this time I knew you're right, Turkey appeared to be flippant to ... well to most of us except for Russia of course; but you were not flippant. Most points you've mentioned, I remember hearing on another channel I also watch, especially about raising interest rates during high inflation ... naming other channels always gets me dęlęted/shądøw bąnnęd for some reason, so I better don't do it. I believe, we're all hurting one way or another atm, at least for me it's extremely painful, depressing and hard to come to terms with the trauma this war causes to millions of people atm and the ripple effects of it on the whole world. When scrolling through the comments here and there I often saw you but didn't want to get involved and confront you with my profile cause of our past total nonsense-clash. Back then I had overreacted due to being in so much pain and psychological distress, I genuinely apologize to you personally ... we should be friends.

I've been highly impressed with the arguments you made on many other threads on different channels and I'm genuinely happy with that outcome!
