My exile Hungarian dad is totally heartbroken about Orbán's political games of playing both sides. Sooner or later the EU will have to figure out what to do, if the Hungarians continue to support and vote for him and/or for another, equally as bad russian puppet leader - let's just hope, that this war's over before we Europeans are feeling forced to find legal ways of throwing Hungary out of NATO and the EU - Orbán needs to be pressured into understanding asap, that he can't have two cakes and eat both of them without any repercussions. YES, this next step into the EU is a victory for Ukraine, but having to officially bribe Orbán leaves a very sour taste in our Europeans mouths (myself included) - mainly bc the 10 billion would've been so much better spent on helping Ukraine, instead of feeding Orbán's greed, who's STILL BLOCKING THE EU 50 BILLION UKRAINE AID PACKAGE - this guy's a totally spineless bottomless barrel when it comes to shamelessly extorting our EU cash.

PS. This full scale russian invasion of Ukraine is also a fight for Europe's existence and it's democracies after all, but Orbán's doing what all takes, to actively and openly sabotage our safety and Europe's political independence from russia for almost 2 years now!

As European I feel an incredible amount of second hand embarrassment for the Republicans unwillingness, to further support Ukraine! It's by far THE most important war of our 21st century's history for almost 2 years now and I'm not meaning only for us Europeans but also for the US'S foreign policy, yet they still play their own childish political games ... frankly they kinda remind me a lot of Hungary's Orbán, trying to play both sides (meaning the Democrats versus the russian leadership) for their own personally gains. Can't believe they're too blind, to see how much the world's security suffers due to their own faulty games and that their allied countries economies crumble ... and it bothers me deeply, how well this mix of russian propaganda plus russian bribes affects their process of decision making.

PS. I can't even imagine, how those parts of the Republicans who're involved in all of this, are even able to enjoy their multiple weeks of holidays, while knowing full well, they're actively risking their own country's safety, their status as a super-power and their foreign policies ... the destruction of their allies trust into them included. After reading plenty of Americans comments I've noticed, they're all equally as disappointed, angered and appalled by those parts of the Republicans despicable behaviour, as we Europeans are; including myself.
