  2. January 6th hearings and intractable subservience to the gun makers finally being realized by more of their voters 12 weeks from the midterms is what [got] Republican votes. The idea that the lack of action was a bipartisan problem is pure BS. The Republicans alone have blocked action for four decades. The GOP even failed to act on military style rifles even after Chief Justice Scalia said they would take action in 2010, when he wrote the opinion in DC v Heller.that opened the floodgates on gun deaths and mass shootings.
