  2.  @EconLessons  ironically much of the economic prosperity of Russia was tied to the production of potato water. Mostly thru the 1800s. Now it's military exports along with oil/gas. I don't think potato water is a terrible export. It was clearly a important valuable export that has supported the Russian economy for more than 100 years and led them out of a completely agricultural economy.
