Don't need to imagine how America treated its allies in Afghanistan last year.

@ramtron1775 Ukraine ditched its independence and gambled on NATO membership bid. Knowing it will incur the wrath of Russia. A neutral state would have meant many more years of peace with Russia, but they don't like that.

National policies should not be guided by emotions.

@alien4422 if dying makes u a real man, doesn't it mean u are not 1 yet?
4
@pete6717 U forgot Ukraine turned their backs to Russia by wanting to join NATO?
4
@hellothere1656 well, Russia hasn't attacked any NATO country either. By sending weapons to Ukraine, NATO has destroyed any impression its not hostile to Russia. And it's the very same military alliance Ukraine wants to join. Since NATO is aiding a non-NATO member. Russia would be wise to keep tabs on its other European neighbours. The same way NATO mobilised troops as a paranoid response to what's going on in Ukraine. So genius, look into the mirror before u points fingers. 👉
4
nah, this is Ukraine's idea of freedom of choice. they chose war!
3
@jimloontiens9275 just because I posted something u don't like doesn't mean I am pro Russia. Maybe u like what is happening in Ukraine with its suicidal bid to join NATO.
3
@def creator I am contented with watching Ukraine's Nero making speeches everyday while "Rome" burns.
3
@cortina74 if NATO countries did something, NATO did it. Just as NATO applies Article 5, if a single NATO member is under attack, all of NATO is deemed under attack. This is the difference.
3
@cortina74 whether individual NATO countries acted alone as they claimed, or NATO officially declared their intentions as a military bloc. There is no difference.
3
@cortina74 if Zelensky and the majority of Ukrainians understood geopolitics, they would have avoid conflict with Russia years ago. But no, they're in their own bubble, insisting independence and freedom without consequences. U are so sure Ukraine can do no wrong, then do not feel sorry for them. Live or die, they are right. And dying like they are now is their right too.
3
@cortina74 nope, that's not my logic. That's what u perceive. If NATO is not a threat to Russia, it makes no sense for NATO to be alarmed by what is happening to a non-NATO member. To conduct huge military mobilisations in member states bordering Russia indicates clearly the true intent of NATO. Putting the false claims of peace to rest. Ur logic is Russia has no right to be alarmed by whatever NATO does, but NATO has every right to perceive all that Russia does as threats to all NATO territory.
3
@cortina74 by ur logic, is NATO being invaded by Russia now? Why is NATO alarmed, and mobilising its army? Is mighty NATO, made up of so many countries afraid of Russia (a single country)?
3
@thornados4969 it's their right to choose suicide too? Ukraine definitely is under NATO's influence. So why so many feel sorry for Ukraine? What's happening is their choice!
3
@alien4422 Russian roubles may be low, but compared to the credibility of American Biden. It's still more credible. Don't believe me? Look up reports on Arab leaders avoiding calls from American leaders. It happened in recent weeks during this Ukraine conflict (probably begging for Arab oil). 😅

@dannyarcher6370 the majority of Ukrainians chose a comedian to run their country into a war. And now they are suffering that decision. Instead of taking responsibility, like their leader Zelensky, they chose to blame others.
1
@nepsyasudra3262 Ukraine is free to fight Russia. Maybe that's the freedom u seek.
1
@hellothere1656 no, Belarus ur version of neutral. according to ur logic, then joining NATO is to bend over to NATO. why would Russia like NATO to be at their border, when NATO is so paranoid about Ukraine being attacked? do u know about NATO's Article 5? so the reverse is true, 1 NATO member attacks Russia, all of NATO is involved. btw, Finland is still a non-NATO member & not a Russian puppet. and Russia never threaten Finland.
1
@bushmasterflash ur logic sure is twisted. What Ukraine wishes is to signal to Russia "we're anti Russia, suck it up". Obviously NATO is at war with Russia already, treating Ukraine as a cover to deny it. Ukraine is now NATO's proxy, no better than any puppet regime.
1
So what will Ukrainians do when they retake control?
1
@dragosstanciu9866 they could have avoid all of this year's ago if Ukraine embrace neutrality. Neutrality is peace, independence. To imply neutrality would mean being a Russian puppet state is false.
1
@dragosstanciu9866 actually they could, but it would entail loss of national pride, land. Successive Ukrainian leaders could have been more realistic, pragmatic and politically savvy. The loss of some land back than to dial down tensions is better than fighting Russia in every part of Ukraine now. The losses and pain now is greater. To me, it just isn't wise for Ukraine to insist head butting Russia.
