  3. 4:16 TO get an apartment here in Sweden can be very difficult because the demand is so high the line is so long, getting the apartment might require you to have points which you get for waiting in line - 1 point=1 day, so you can imagine you are screwed if someone waited for years and you just arrived in town, it can also require recommendations from the previous landlord. No bad marks from missing a payment or bill previously. You also need a proof of employment. No criminal record and you need to provide your ID in the application so the landlord can check up on you. This might sound harsh but I would do exactly the same if I was a landlord. For my other guests sake.
