  2. @Frank Furter mostly the fault of corruption and infaltion (i.e. theft of the future) I understand crypto theorectivally counteracts those two problems... but I can't trust something purely digital. that's why i invest in precious metals. they always have, and always will hold value. even far into the future when asteroid mining becomes viable, there is a still a cost to that, which means the resources will maintain value.
