  2. As I have said many times before, "divide and conquer" is the strategy being implemented against the American Common Man by the oligarchic political elites. Collectively Democratic or Republican elites have manipulated the American People for over 2 1/2 centuries - to their own skewed, self-directed advantage. Use Joe Manchin as a case-in-point : The State of West Virginia ranks 45-50th in just about any metric you might chose, yet Senator Manchin himself "earns" half a million dollars annually from his coal holdings alone! Where is the justice? Where is the Democracy? As I have often said : 330 MILLION citizens are being "herded" by a relative handful of self-serving plutocrats. Where IS the Democracy we so pride ourselves in?

  3. Thom, you have "hit the nail on the head"! Race IS the "elephant in the room". I will go one step further though and say that poor white people now fall into the same class of "unworthies" that Black and "colored" people once exclusively populated. I do NOT mean to diminish the plight of non-whites in America. What I WILL suggest is that many poor working white people are being shoved under the same bus as our "ethnic" neighbors and friends. Our "power elites" who inhabit Capitol Hill are exploiting economic disparities and converting them into perceived "racial tensions".
