The minds of the American People are the ultimate prize for plutocrats and their oligarchic minions on capitol Hill. History has demonstrated time and again that wealth IS power. Wealth is a goal in itself, but the POWER that comes with it is the ultimate prize. Our much-vaunted "democratic process" has been made a mockery of by political oligarchs who have lawyerly "played the system" to their own advantage. Look across the landscape of contemporary America and try to deny it. America has been eviscerated by plutocrats and their politician puppy dogs. We the People have become mere minions of the economic overlords. Democracy is no more.
