  1. Small d democracy has been usurped by the monied few. Our entire electoral process is a choreographed scam perpetrated on the American People. Our entrenched duopoly has collectively perpetrated a fraud that is so immense that most people can't even acknowledge it. Democracy is merely a beautiful idea, a humanistic goal that has been sold off to the highest bidder. Our entire electoral process is manifestation of that hoax. Our two-party electoral system is a double-edged sword intent on decapitating the will of its citizenry.

  2. America, in many ways, is paralyzed by its polarization. What exemplifies and defines polarization better than our TWO party system? Is it not evident that our arbitrary TWO party system is the most intrinsically divisive political arrangement imaginable? "Divide and Conquer" is one of the oldest strategies in the autocratic playbook. And We the People have been sucked right in to it. Sadly, even Thom Hartmann (who I believe is a genuinely good person), has succumbed to its specious allures.
