  1. "Planned obsolescence" is a key component of our corporate paradigm. Should it be any wonder that many of the "working class" are viewed with the same wanton disregard? Knowing that there is an inexhaustible pool of desperate people, and creating an economic system whereby that supply is guaranteed, is in integral part of Capitalism The very idea of democracy is made a mockery of by the structural, in-built inequality of the system itself. Unless the simple concept of the Common Good is reintroduced in to our governmental and socio-economic structure, the entire paradigm is destined for eventual collapse.

  3. "Wage slavery" is the wet dream of our corporatocracy. Blind obeisance is the wet dream of government. The unholy marriage between the two has created millions of desperate "bastard children" who are innocently ignorant of their parentage. Not until - and unless - the idea of the Common Good is reintroduced in to our national lexicon will there be any escape from America's down hill slide in to oblivion.
