Being Swedish I am certain that even though we are not in NATO, we will help defend the other NB8. We are all in JEF, even though we are not all NATO or EU. NB8 = Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. Sweden is the biggest country out of the 8, and we take the security and defense of the NB8 region very seriously.

@BTinSF There are various other agreements, yes. I don't actually know which one takes precedent in case something happens nearby. Apart from JEF there is also Nordefco and the EU defense clause in Sweden's case. And apparently separate agreements with the UK and the USA.

We have what we have historically needed, which is navy and air force. We can do a decent job with both of those. Sure, we're lacking somewhat in the army department but that doesn't mean we can't do anything.
