  1. It also seems that the bridge from Russia to Crimea is still intact, which means that Russia can pump in supplies that way. Whereas the railroads into Ukraine in other places have been sabotaged, making it more difficult for the Russians to get supplies into those areas. So let us hope some kind soul blows up the Crimea bridge.

  5. Be aware that the Ukrainian Foreign Legion requires a minimum of 2 years military service. You wouldn't be a conscript if you go voluntarily. Conscript means "a person enlisted compulsorily". (I'm assuming that you're not a Ukrainian citizen, of course).

  10.  @dough6759  I don't know. Some people think that Russia will fragment itself into smaller pieces. Because I'm European and my country is uncomfortably close to Russia, I concentrate on the European side of it. So I don't really have an opinion on Siberia. China might try to take back Outer Manchuria when Russia has weakened itself enough. That's really the only thing I can think of.

Those of us who have lived in the shadow of Russia know how dangerous the situation is, and that we ourselves are at risk of invasion.
