@dinas.m8298 Actually, Bloomberg did an article on it that shows that BP bought some (not all) of their YT views with ads. However, they're far from the only ones to have done so (Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande also used ads). This is actually creating quite a controversy because recently an artist just broke the 24hr YT view record, but almost ALL (95%) of his views were from ads. Neither YT nor any other agency is crediting him with the achievement though because of the ad buys, despite other artists doing to same (admittedly, not to the same extent). I'm not denying BP's popularity because I think the majority of their views are not from ads and are organic, but you wanted to know about whether their views are being bought and they are (but only some and they aren't the only artists who do so). @dinas.m8298 If you want to check out more, just look for news about Badshah (the rapper in my above comment) because he's basically the main one being scrutinize for the practice.

@marrymejisoo3413 I'm going to need to see your sources for that, please, because I've been trying to find out about BTS's views' sources and haven't got anything but, at best, opinions of them. I've seen comments say that they also buy ads or they don't buy ads at all or they don't buy ads for the first couple of days or it's fans who buy ads for views, but I haven't seen anything from a real news source confirming anything about BTS's MV ads. Not saying you're wrong, just that I haven't been able to find anything about it besides second-hand accounts and I'd be thankful to actually get my hands on something with real authority.
