Whenever there's a mandatory service law in place, then yes.

True, I believe it's ideal that service be done voluntarily, but for situations where the government implements a mandate for enlistment, I don't think gender should be the factor to bar a person from the draft.

@namename-ph7bg I expect that, just like for men, women who have smt that completely prevents them from being able to serve would be able to be excused from service. But an able-bodied woman should be subject to a draft just the same as any able-bodied man.

@namename-ph7bg Oh, I agree that military service should be done voluntarily, but I'm talking about under circumstances when there's a draft in place. A person's gender should not be the factor that bars the person from conscription.
