  1. Adults dating is no big deal. Stalking people and sharing around secretly taken videos in order to spread horrible rumors abt a celebrity is absolutely disgusting. Is it really a wonder fans and JK got bothered by this? But it definitely should not have gotten big enough for JK to find out abt it and feel the need to address it. Ppl, esp anyone considering themselves a fan, shouldn't be harassing him at all.

  2. There is a much bigger issue here that needs more focus that I'm not seeing enough of. The stalking, harassing, secretly videotaping ppl in their private space, and using it to slander celebs goes beyond just the issue of "fans needs to accept idols dating." Fans needing to accept celebs dating is important, yes, but what's happening here goes way beyond simple fandom behavior. This is criminal behavior territory. And why post the video too?!?

  3. The real problem is ppl stalking him and sharing vids of ppl in private and using said vids to defame/slander celebs (that's hella messed up).

  6.  @WildberryAB  no, the point is that it isn't our business so we're not entitled to any explanation from him abt it and should leave it alone. And in his full response, he says ARMY is his gf, family, best friends, or whatever we want to call him as a quick throwaway line that didn't have any deeper meaning. If ppl want to read smt deeper into smt he said unseriously, that's a "them" issue that shouldn't be on him.

  7.  @WildberryAB  I mean, I get you, but at the same time, he's not actually our irl friend/family for it to be reasonable for us to have an expectation on how he addresses his private life to us. Being in a fan-celeb relationship isn't the same as being in a irl relationship, where both parties are able to freely communicate on both sides at a much more complex level. Bc, who's to say he wasn't telling the truth? It's not like you or I can actually met him and have a nuanced irl conversation with him. Even figuring out where personal boundaries are (like with how to joke) becomes an issue bc of this limitation. Even us talking thru these cmmts on yt puts a barrier to how well we're able to communicate to understand each other. I can only take what you write at face value bc I don't know you or your situation to get a full understanding from your pov and that should be vice versa with you to me. So, ig I can only say for me, as long as he isn't doing smt criminal/harmful and it isn't affecting his job (the thing we're his fans for), then I think we, as fans, are not entitled to anything regarding his private life, including him being truthful or not abt it.
