  1. I can’t see it ever happening. I know that the city council challenge failed today but it is just too much money quoted and too much disruption. $7.4 billion dollars for a city of not even 250,000 people?! For that amount of money they could tunnel the mainline rail under the city! Where is this money going to come from? I noticed these people they’ve interviewed who are positive without questioning it are younger. I have to wonder about the education system in NZ and if it still fosters critical thinking skills.
