  1.  @gFamWeb  The term "white privilege" generalizes the whole population...so I don't necessarily agree with it. As a white male, I grew up as a minority and didn't have much money, especially now that I'm an adult, it's even harder. Using that term in a straightforward manner, automatically creates a divide and is therefore passive-aggressive.

  4.  @theresnothinghereatall  I agree. People of every color live privileged lives depending on how they attained wealth or were born with it, then there a those who are continuously suffering. Throughout history, Europeans weren't always the ones who controlled everything. I think it's unfair to causally use that term as it's not entirely correct and sounds very prejudice.

  8. There is really no argument towards looting in general, unless you don’t care about human livelihood? It’s like you being extremely happy over someone who got fired for no reason. I know my “history”, so I’m here to hear your opinions on what does her argument on “stolen land”, justify looting innocent business owners who have nothing to do with police brutality? She was indeed uneducated. She assumes all polices officers are “bad”, which is a very toxic ideology that will only bring her misfortune in the future when dealing with authority. If you’re making assumptions about something that is 100% bad, then you’ll never accomplish anything in life. That’s the equivalent to saying that all Europeans/white people are evil and racist. She disrespected the black cop, who was mature throughout the entire conversation. I understand she was passionate about the topic, however I personally think it was immature. But we don’t know the events leading up to her incidents with the police? She gave vague responses to the mistreatment of the cops? We don’t know the full story, is my point.

  11. That's a real revolution that required many factors besides reckless rioting. I personally don't believe this will gather much change, because we need to fight over the many human rights which we don't have. We're somehow ignoring all the other corruption that's been happening for far too long in this country.

  13. I suggest to watch the video again. She made an excuse for looting, then compared it to “stolen land”...which doesn’t make much sense. She disrespected the black cop. I understand she was passionate, but it was still immature. And she assumed that all cops are “bad” because of her experiences from what we know nothing about.

  14. Well, there’s still major issues happening with the Native Americans, and they don’t get much help from the federal government, so if I were them, I’d be frustrated too. African Americans are pissed off because of police brutality and other aspects of racial injustices. I have a ton of opinions on both issues, and I’m sure you don’t want to hear me rant XD You’re right about the Germans. Also, to clarify, there’s no such thing as “antisemitism” (one of many historical misconceptions) because it refers to all Arabs, which includes the Jews. It’s actually anti-Jewish.

  17.  @alishamcg  I'm sure she is. I was also assaulted by a cop (an undercover narc) who thought I had a gun and drugs on me when I was 17. When in reality, I was getting money from my sister to get pizza, and he assumed it was a drug deal. To give clarity, I was skipping my gym class, which was second to last period. I was with my black friend at the time (I'm white, just wanted to make it clear), when the narc said "don't move" to him (not in a nice fashion), looked back at me, then hit me a few times. My body couldn't respond because my flight-or-fight response kicked in. Throughout the whole ordeal, it happened so fast that I concisely has no control over my body, and I was wearing a hoodie, so that's why he assumed I had a gun. Long story short, I got over my fear and hatred of cops. Maybe she'll change her opinion of them in the future, she still has time to mature.

I do agree that the majority of the population in the US is white, so minorities will face prejudice and discrimination, but that applies anywhere in the world. In the US, there's many black individuals who have "privilege", such as rappers, athletes, and actors. But the same applies that Europeans and Jews have more power, overall. But then we can talk about Africa. Ghana and Nigeria are full of billionaires and millionaires who are all black.

Yes, as a mixed white dude, I would have it easier than minorities in the US. Thankfully, I didn't grow up around many whites, I grew up with immigrants and other people of color. Sorry, I don't understand your last statement?

  27.  @rseestella2296  I was simply making a comparison on how the world works based on who is the majority. If you're the minority, you're obviously going to be overwhelmed by the majority. It was a problem, specifically for me because I was a white minority among Hispanic, black, and Asians. The acting part is true? African American actors/actresses who are wealthy: Tyler Perry, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington, Martin Lawrence, Jaimie Foxx, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Whoopi Goldberg

  37. Greek guy It’s also the corruption of the US that is responsible for the mistreatment and abuse of gun ownership. In the South, you can easily get a gun from a gun show, which is a loophole within the system. As an empire, we have the strongest military because we also produce and sell the most weapons. Therefore nothing is organized and weapons are not properly handled with any background tests or count as to how many citizens own a firearm (or how many they do have).
