I think that’s why joining the force shouldn’t be as early as 18. These individuals really need to be educated more about reality, especially regarding history and philosophy.

@pyropete7654 The US is an empire with strong ideals. Amending the constitution, or changing the millions of gun owners to merely get rid of their guns is laughable at this point. The only rational thing I can see is more gun regulations.

@crystalolney1929 But if you think about it, the term itself is too simple for a complex issue. I think all he said was that there needs to a “force” to stop the inevitable violence. Of course, I do think he’s wrong for not saying the police does in fact hold too much power and funding.

@crystalolney1929 I agree, Crystal. Although I don’t agree with the ACAB phrase. Nor do I think systemic racism makes much sense, since we’re living in a federal system, where minorities in major cities do have some power.

@crystalolney1929 So you’re admitting they do have “some power”, which means the whole “systemic racism” argument doesn’t really add up to a federal system, lol. The prison system is a different topic, since they’re not “rehabilitating” anyone, they’re profiting off of weak individuals who, the majority, have done petty crimes and don’t deserve slave treatment. Except for wealthy individuals who get put in a vacation center. How was the police system built on “white supremacy” when they had different European ethnic groups fighting each other to begin with? Many Europeans hated each other, based on ethnic cultures and religious creed; especially when new immigrants arrived fresh off the boat and didn’t speak English.

But why did you contradict yourself before and admit there’s no such thing as “systemic” if minorities do have power in certain districts and cities? Did you completely ignore what I said about ethnicity and Europeans hating other? You know, besides slaves and beating down on the natives, Europeans didn’t get along themselves. Well, hopefully things will start changing, and I’m sure it will in another 20 years.

@crystalolney1929 Because it doesn't? How does racism exist in the entirety of the system, if it's a federal system? Meaning there's more corrupt police unions in different regions in the US. Not everything functions the same. Where does it say that!? That policing was exclusively created because of slaves? Everything you say is based on your close-minded opinions on history and perspectives you know nothing about. Where are you educating yourself?

Well, I hope you further educate yourself and do your own research, because I honestly don't think you know much about history. Listening to propaganda on Twitter and MSM will never help solve anything.

@pyropete7654 I have no idea, lol, I don't live in the South or Texas. It depends on the state and how you get your license. Anyone could get a weapon and hurt someone, it doesn't have to be a gun, lol, but I don't really believe in the gun culture myself.
