It’s due to propaganda and the media; but even before that, there were many radical organizations in the 60s and 70s.

Gabriella Duncan I agree. I’m European and Puerto Rican. It’s interesting to here people’s reaction when they think I’m only white XD

R B I’m 25 and I had all those things, lol...

Sam Nielsen I’m asking why the individual feels so uninformed?
4
Sam Nielsen Makes sense. But then McOinkey said he couldn’t understand what was going on, so maybe some people are confused XD

Xavier still counts, lol.

Gabriella Duncan Yep. I’ve gotten a lot of hate because I can’t speak Spanish...which is pretty annoying XD but nonetheless, I love Hispanics and Europeans, I think everyone is interesting :)

I totally respect your perspective. I remember in college a group of individuals complimented an African American girl and said she was smart. Another African American girl said she talked “white”, and I agreed with her. Yet, when I told her it’s true she got offended because she probably thought I was being racist. The reality is, is that most Africans Americans where I live are not educated enough, so I feel like they’re not aware of the differences of their mannerisms. I don’t know where I’m going with this, lol, just curious on what you think about this?

Tatu Taylor Thank you for replying! I love and respect African Americans. I’m a big history buff, so I educated myself on a more in-depth look at African Americans and Africa in general over the years. It’s definitely very interesting and complex. I think more people should educate themselves since the US shoves a linear, whitewashed approach to our history and origins of this country. Oh, and I wanted to say: I think everyone is so divided, confused and full of hatred because they’re insecure and not educated enough on history. I believe our own government is responsible for all the inequality and manipulation they’ve forced on the population throughout the generations.
2
The major problem is that people aren’t fully aware and educated on either history or their own government.

Barely anyone is creative or “original” these days, so their only resort is desperation.
2
No, they definitely care about “gender”.
1
lauren I’m being specific, it’s important, lol.
1
True. Anytime of war or crisis, we often tend to rely on each for support; for instance, the Vietnam war.

Because you aren’t “American”, lol. America uses a system where you have to define your “race”, and yes, I am biracial, so I am of 2 races.

Tatu Taylor I mean, it’s true that’s there a stigma on African Americans and where they come from (poverty-stricken areas like Chicago or Detroit), that most of the time they’re born in a dysfunctional environment, where they have to fend for themselves and rely on the streets to survive. I can blame most of it from the government (segregation and racism), it’s very similar to how they treated Native Americans and forced them into reservations. Hispanics also deal with a similar ordeal where they weren’t treated as good either. You’re right. It’s just very complicated, lol, and gives me anxiety when I try to express myself, because you know, everyone gets offended XD. But yea, I think it all comes back to education and your upbringing. And np :)

“Communism” was never communism in the first place, lol.
1
Torulf Viking Yes, but it’s called “fascism”, not communism.
1
Torulf Viking Well, it’s still not “communism” since it goes against both the manifesto and Karl Marx’s ideals.
1
Don’t get your hopes up, lol, I wish people were “normal” like this.
1
Diego Duarte You’re talking about them being mestizo? Because that applies to most of Latin America. They didn’t “wipe” out all of them, there’s still a handful of Indians left (Taino) in both Puerto Rico and the US. I haven’t done an ancestry test, so I’m not sure. All I know is that I’m still Puerto Rican, since my father is Puerto Rican (being born on that Island).
1
No thanks. I’ll respect them as a human but I won’t force myself to be superficial and awkward.

And what was your solution to these “experiences”?
